Bow Tie
                            
                                              Uniquely designed mixed media art in the modern style. The bow tie shaped pau amarello center
                                              sections combine with a padauk top to form both decorative wood art and a functional stand for a
                                              small art object. A padauk inlay in the center sections also serves to delineate the bow tie halves
                                              and bring harmony to the piece. Satin finish solid metal serves to join the center sections to each
                                              other and to the top and also to create legs for the piece. Meticulous attention is provided to both
                                              detail and finishing. The wood is not stained and attains a natural patina over time and with
                                              exposure to ambient light. Finished with multiple coats of thinned shellac, polished and waxed.
