Cube
                            
                                          Uniquely designed sculpture in a three dimensional modern style. This is my tribute to cubism, the
                                          early 20th century art movement. The cubes in this sculpture are in three different levels; the larger three
                                          dimensional virtual cube, the intermediate three dimensional solid cubes and the small single dimension
                                          cube inlays.The highly figured burl maple contrasts with the blackwood to form a unique sculpture.
                                          The solid burl maple three dimensional cubes have blackwood inlay, and the base is solid blackwood.
                                          The cubes are joined with satin-finished metal rods. Meticulous attention is provided to both detail 
                                          and finishing. The wood is not stained and attains a natural patina over time and with exposure to
                                          ambient light. Finished with multiple coats of thinned shellac and waxed.
