Diamond Doublet
                            
                                               Uniquely designed mixed media art in an art deco style. The diamond shaped mahogany center
                                              sections combine with a padauk top to form both decorative wood art and a functional stand for
                                              a small art object. The diamond shaped centers incorporate a diamond-shaped padauk inlay. 
                                              Satin finish solid metal serves to join the center pieces to the top and also to create legs for
                                              the piece. The surfaces are hand planed and formed. Meticulous attention is provided to both
                                              detail and finishing. The wood is not stained and attains a natural patina over time and with
                                              exposure to ambient light. Finished with multiple coats of thinned shellac, polished and waxed.
