Mahogany jewelry box with dark wenge banding, carved dark wenge handles, and lacewood top. 
                                               Solid brass hinges and feet. The jewelry box has a large component of hand work and fitting.
                                               The mahogany has been selected to accentuate the subtle grain pattern of the woods used. 
                                               Surfaces are hand scraped and formed. The three levels of compartments are individually fitted 
                                               with reinforced joinery in the corners. Meticulous attention is provided to detail and finishing. 
                                               The wood is a natural color, finished with multiple coats of thinned shellac, polished and waxed.
