Striations
                            
                                        Uniquely designed wall art in a three dimensional contemporary styling. The highly figured curly, spalted
                                        maple with embedded wenge inlay evokes a unique depiction of natural, organic striations. The sides
                                        of the art are dark wenge and this wall art is raised to provide depth. All surfaces are hand planed and
                                        meticulous attention is provided to both detail and finishing. The wood is not stained and attains a
                                        natural patina over time and exposure to ambient light. Finished with multiple coats of thinned
                                        shellac, polished and waxed.
